Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - question about this bike does it look like a good deal

Hay im looking to pick up a fixed gear bike, im looking around on craigslist and i see this bike.
9 month old custom built track bike. Here are the specks:

57 cm KHS Flite 100, Reynolds 4130 steel frame: Ritchey Pro Comp headset.

Mavic CXP22 Wheelset: With Suzue Pro-Max hubs - these are the top of line Suzue hubs - Black Wheelsmith spokes, Front is laced radial, rear is laced triple cross. Michelin Pro-race tires - new. Fantastic wheelset smooth and sturdy.

Nitto track bars, chrome - the standard.

Sugino XD track crank. Black with a 46 tooth chainring, I'll include a 42 tooth as well.

Shimano 16 tooth cog and lockring.

Shimano 105 front brake - black, with a Cane Creek time trial lever - black.
I'll include the matching back break too, even though it's not set up now.

Selle Italia Flite Saddle, black and leather.

Miscellaneous stem and seat post.

This bike is going for around 600$ my main concern is the Suzue hubs, i read on a previos thread that these hubs were not grate. any info or openions?

i love suzue promaxs, 600 doesnt sound bad at all... that wheelset is pretty crucial. cranks are the low end of the deal, cause... xd im pretty sure was never "track". if i had the money... and really wanted a track bike, id take it... plus youll be able to spend more on making it sweet, sugino 75s later, or whatnot...

Yeah the xd cranks are the fishiest part but for a beginner they'll be fine. It sounds like an OK deal, not stupendous but not a ripoff either.

Suzue Promax hubs are pretty much awesome. Suzue Jr's, on the other hand, are what have a dodgier reputation. Like any other manufacturer, they made high and low end stuff. Don't judge the whole line by the low end.

For anyone they're fine. Maybe not flashy enough for some peoples taste or not as stiff as a 200lb sprinter with a stiff al frame might like but they are plenty fine.

Everything I know about XD's I learned from bfssfgers pining wistfully for 75's. They seem like theyd be fine to me too, a little ugly is all. :) Something about marketing converted road doubles as "track cranks" kinda rubs me the wrong way, but meh.

i have some xd cranks and they have worker fine for the few months i have used them. I am upgrading to 75s for my new frame though.

shimano 105 is a good brake if you end up using it. dunno about the lever though.
