Hey Joe-
I'm a brand new owner of a Dahon folder (Speed D7 '06 model). Since I wanted to see how riding in the City would be (hadn't seriosuly done it over the past few years...) and the '06 Dahon's were really coming down in price, I decided to pick it one up. I cannot beleive how easily this thing stores and sets up. Amazing. Anyway, after a minor snafu of a missing nut (which Dahon quickly took care of...good blokes, by the way ;) ), I was off and riding. Really chilly out, but the Speed rode like a charm.
Lots of good folks here (e.g., Northeast thread....), as well as some of the other NYC biking groups (e.g., www.5BBC.org and www.times-up.org).
PS: Oh yeah, thanks for the birthday greeting:p
