I have been involved in a number of forums, but never one that invited a new user to introduce themselves. Very welcoming.

Very quickly, I am a 35 year old mountain biker; I ride about 60 miles a week XC, and I'll be entering my first races this spring, and am dsistractedly excited about it. I've ridden DH at Whistler, and hope to do more in Colorado this summer. I'm also trying to learn mechanics skills by building up an '86 Bianchi Trofeo frame into a single speed town ride. My research on what that will take is what brought me hear.

Anyway...

Mike
