They've never been extinct. Haven't you ever seen a Republican?

I saw the title to this thread and immediately clicked on it, intending to write:

"As far as I can see, Ted Kennedy will never evolve."

In the spirit of bipartisanship, I salute your faster fingers.

Thought exactly the same thing, but refrained figuring the thread might be sent down to the P&R hell realms.

They're welcome to evolve all they want, so long as they're only willing to eat jerks of all political affiliation.

Oh yes, they will evolve again, starting from this guy...

^ Ugh...I sure hope not. If they all talk in that same, annoying, matter-of-fact tone, I will personally go find a big asteroid to crash into the planet and wipe them out again.

The gecko is kind of an advertising dinosaur. He stopped being amusing about 3 years ago.

Teddy came to speak at my college in MA when he first ran for office. How old are we? Damn. (FWIW, my main problem with Republicans on the national level is that they let the Neo-Cons & Religious Right hijack the party. We need thoughtful people discussing all the issues and not giving the POTUS a free pass, ever.)

Devo, the band, I believe started at Kent State University as a result of one of the members witnessing the Kent State shootings.

Arent all bands KISS tribute bands? DEVO is exactly like KISS except for their lack of makeup, the red jumsuits, and the complete absensce of any KISS songs in their repetoire. However, Mick Jagger has been quoted as saying that DEVO's cover of Satisfaction is better than the original, which supports your theory.
