I have signed up as well. Should be a great 20th anniversary ride.

2th grinder and Mike,
The route is just incredible, stunning really. We'll have to meet up for the ride, it would be nice to ride with you again. I plan on some training rides on parts of the route, if you'd be interested in riding some of it let me know.

I'm going, never been before. In fact borne and raised hear abouts and never been to Crater Lake...I must admit I'm a little intimidated by the elevation profile so I've already started training hard.

Shifty,
That would be a lot of fun. My saturdays are taken until June. I also have fridays off so hopefully we can do something. With most of it a few hours away it might be a challenge.

I did it last year for the first time. It was an amazing week. I took the rest day off so I went about 420 miles and I think it was about 24,000 feet of elevation gain. The logistics of supporting 2000 riders for a week must be/was amazing. I would highly recommend it. It is fun to use all the other rides to get in shape for cycle oregon.

I'm strongly considering doing the weekend ride - have any of you Pac NW'ers done it?

With most of it a few hours away it might be a challenge.I also have Fridays off, so we can plan some rides on the Cottage Grove/Oakridge/Old McKenzie Pass sections. The weather is improving, so we can pick so dates to shoot for training rides. We can talk at the Monster Cookie.
