Foo - Hey Foosters, have a dream bike? Post it here andddddd here's mine

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

darn it, has been searching for a bike (for fun) that would categorize it self as a All-Mountain, I only end up with Epiphany, well went to competitive cyclist and I end up making the bike around RM15k.
So I went searching again, and sadly I ended up at Trek's Fuel EX line and im stucked there. I got addicted to the FUEL EX line. Oh my gawsh, Im totally addicted to the Fuel EX 8, check this out http://www.treknology3.com/2007/trek/mountain/pages/f8.htm
I believe they are clearing the past XTR models and decided to package it with the Fuel EX8, what you need to do is just change the shifters to the new XTR and you get ur self, one hella of a bike :D, and its weight is around 12kg. Not bad for a Marathon XC bike. (Actually after thinking and decided my self, I decided that I want to ride longer and further instead of faster, which means I am supposed to look for a comfortable XC all terrain bike instead of a XC race bike and its weight should be around 11-12kg) The irony.....
Oh well, when I work, maybe I get that instead of Epiphany :) damn 07 Trek rocks
I'm pretty happy with Vivian. She's my Cervelo R3 with silver destickered Rolf Prima Elan Aero wheels, DuraAce, Zero Gravity brakes, and Deda white bar tape. Cost no object, though, I wouldn't mind a Cervelo Soloist Carbon SL with Lightweight Obermayer wheels, undecided as to DuraAce, Record, or Force. Zero Gravity brakes and Deda or Cervelo branded white bar tape.

yeah, it does look sexy. Ooh and you reverse your quick release lever. Cool
When I get the money (it'll be quite a while), I think this will be my next bike...2007 Trek Session 77...

It's on the non disc side... (hot hot hot!) This is an all mountain bike, a little more tougher than my Caldera and Cake, which are XC.

The Session 10 has 10 inches of rear wheel travel, while the Session 7 and 77 have about 7 inches. I don't like how the 10 looks, but I really like the 77. Unfortunately, I'm sure it'll be several years till I have enough money to get a new bike.

My dream bike would be something classic that I personally restored/built up. Preferably 80s Italian.
Along the lines of this:
http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p201/jfblodi/DeRosaVintage.jpg
or this:
http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p201/jfblodi/Ciocc.jpg

or of course this:
http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p201/jfblodi/Pinarello-Rad.jpg
This would also work:

as would this:

or even this:

Yes, any of the above would work quite nicely :D
It's on the non disc side... (hot hot hot!) This is an all mountain bike, a little more tougher than my Caldera and Cake, which are XC.
Perhaps he meant reverse it so it so it folds backwards... preventing any sticks or anything catching the lever and opening it while you're riding along?

no no, I mean she changed the lever to the derailleur side, my lever is on the disc side.
I dare not post my dream, for fear it might not come true!
There is nothing wrong in dreaming, man :D, that what pushes us to improve :D

I have a nice 84 Ciocc like one of those you posted. They're absolutely awesome bikes.
I want a nice aluminum/carbon Colnago. We have one at the shop [not my size], but I can't afford that for a while. I like my Fuji otherwise.

Okay I have a confession. And this is Skiahh's fault.
All this talk lately about Bianchi, *ahem* road bikes, cyclocross....I'm having the UMB built up within the next week or so (see my countdown by my avatar?) And then off to Colorado I go. I was supposed to go last year but things came up. This time I'm actually being able to make it. Yes, I already made plane and car reservations.
What's in Colorado?
My nephew's shop. http://www.vecchios.com/index.html
He carries this:

And Mich, you get to be the only person beside myself to not only touch it, but you can ride it. ;)

Dream bike? Probably my Lemond or perhaps something in Titanium.
Bike I want right now is a Bridgeston RB-T or a Bianchi Volpe. A friend at my LBS is going to Wisconson this weekend to scope out vintage bikes and is looking for me. I doubt that I will ever buy a new bike again because I enjoy fixing up old ones so much.
