Mountain Biking - Looking for trail recommendations in Southwest US

I will soon be driving from Colorado Springs to Las Vegas. I am taking two weeks to do it. I want to hit some of the great national parks in the area (Moab, Zion, Grand Canyon, etc.) Any recommendations for must ride trails? I am an intermediate XC rider. Any other recommendations (hiking trails, sights, accomodations) also appreciated. I will have camping gear. Thanks in advance.

The better riding in AZ is a little farther south. Anything north of Flagstaff is woefully flat (unless you hit the White Mountains, but thats practically Colorado). Flagstaff and Sedona are often called some of the best single track in the SW US. There is a video of some Sedona riding here (http://www.petefagerlin.com/video_gallery.htm).

There is good riding in northern Arizona and New Mexico, and it's not necessarily flat. There are some good trails in and around Albuquerque. I did Otero canyon there last week. Pretty fun. Nothing crazy. Didn't do as much as I wanted to due to time. There are a couple of trails off of I-40 at McGaffey wilderness area east of Gallup. Not real technical, either one, but one's got some decent climbing (not steep, just constant) and the scenery rocks. PM me if you want more info. I also hear that Farmington, NM has good rides, but that might be out of your way. I'd definately recommend Flagstaff/Sedona. You can get plenty of info from shops there or from trail books.

Bootleg Canyon is a must if you are going by Vegas. It is in Bolder City just outside of Vegas and is a sweet place to ride. Here is a link to their MTB park ;
