You are in Texas. It is all Coca Cola, no matter what the can or Yankess say. That said I voted Dr. Pepper as my choice between those two types of coke.

Both are Southern things, DP is a Texas thing. Coke is a Georgia thing. And yeah it is nice outside, just got back from an outing with the kids. Getting ready to go shopping with wife. Having a DP and surfing FOO until time to go.

Dr Pepper. Hot Dr Pepper is a good substitute for coffee or hot cocoa.

Southern Pop ... good stuff! Remember Sun Drop?

Remember.....remember??? I buy the stuff at the local BBQ pit still! They have both Cheerwine and Sun Drop!

Oh, and Dr. Pepper > Mr. Pibb.....the fact I have an order of Dr. Pepper beef jerky is evidence of that alone (I really hope it tastes good...).

We had a generic Dr. Pepper/ Mr. Pibb in the stores when I lived in Kentucky calls "Dr. Pop".
Was actually a very good drink, and only 15 cents a can.

I used to be a huge monster energy fan. Used to have 2-3 a week for maybe 2 years. But I found out my blood pressure was +20over normal/normal, so I havent had one since november. I find green tea to be better.

You know how long it's been since I've had Cheerwine? At least 12 years.

Yea, and it's funny what we call Soda's. I'm from the Northwest and we never say soda. I usually say pop or coke (even if I drink Pepsi). Your right about Georgia and Coke. I was in Atlanta the other day and there wasn't a Pepsi to be had. :)

Yep I reckon ya are. Coke is our regional name for all carbonated beverages. If some one asks you if you want a coke, you say yes, and then tell them what kind of coke you want. Just like in other regions of the US, you might be asked if you want a soda or a pop or a soda pop. You would say yes and then tell them what flavor you wanted.

You want something uniquely Texas, have a Big Red (http://www.bigredltd.com/).

Why would something from Georgia, home of RC (http://www.rccolainternational.com/then/flash.html), be a Texas cola?

Yep, we have Big Red down here as well.

The Dublin Dr, Pepper (the one made with sugar) is something I wanted to try for a while now....might have to buy a csae of it online.

Why would anyone choose Mr Pibb over Dr Pepper? Mr Pibb didn't even get his degree.

Ya, but he gets R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Any other soda's go by "Mister?" I didn't think so. Dr. Pepper's just putting on airs anyway.

My vote is for Moxie. It's not just a Maine thing--it's a Boston thing too. Nothing better than Moxie and milk.

Does anyone know what the main ingredient in Dr. Pepper is? If you did you probably would not drink it. If you think you know post it. I'll tell you if you're right or wrong.

According to Snopes, the ingredient list of Dr. Pepper is a held secret that is divided into two parts and kept in seperate banks.
How would you know the ingredient?
I'm going to report you to....to.... someone!! :D
