The climate's milder, the motorists far less homicidal, and they serve donuts and coffee to bike commuters on the bridges once a month. I've already lured 2 Michiganders out here already, a whole family would be quite the feather in my cap. :D

Actually me and the wife have been *sort of* looking at houses in the Carolinas and in Florida. Retirement for me is not that far away and we might want to get a jump start on it. In fact, we're going to Florida in a few weeks to check on a few things. (job, house, epcot center)
Oregon doesn't seem bad, but I'm already too far away from my roots as is.

But yeah, I'm probably more energy than *anyone* can handle.

If you're a cyclist, though, the bikey/cycling community is thrilled to have you! Also, there's a great LBS for 'bents here and vintage bikes abound and are appreciated...

I don't know why but i always dated short girls. Not by design, but they were always small. Mrs. Mariner Fan is only 5'3". I'm 6'3".
