I just signed on to BF. I've spent some time in the roadbikereview forums but only recently was is introduced to bikeforums. I live in Spokane, WA and the sun is just beginning to come out after a fairly frigid winter where I didn't get to do much riding. Most of my winter riding is commuting, which I don't do when it's icy. My first love is to be road riding, but hope to start some rando riding this year after I pick up a new cross bike. I also do some occasional writing for OutThereMonthly (http://ouththeremonthly.com) magazine, a publication for the eastern Washington/North Idaho region focusing on stuff you can do outdoors. I also just began volunteering with our local Bicycle Advisory Board (after being denied a seat on the board itself, wah!). Like many here, cycling is my sport and exercise of choice, sport first, exercise just happens to come with the sport.
