Seriously, I still can not think of why she has a show on comedy central.

There was maybe one funny comment out of the 30 minute show I watched. A lot of it seemed like she had some mental disability or she was on something. I couldn't really tell what she was trying to achieve in the show. I tried to give it a chance, hoping it would change part way through, but it was just bad.

What do y'all think?

She sucks. She has always sucked and will continue to suck right along side jimmy kimmel. The two of them will suck side by side until they can suck no more.

And for that lack of talent they have tonnes of money. Makes me wonder sometimes.

Let me put it this way:comedy, like any art, has got a certain amount of subjectivity in that what I find "good," (I think Silverman is hilarious and hot as hell,) may not appeal to you. Sounds as if some of you would be happier watching Saved By the Bell and Full House reruns, though. Or just going on YouTube and watching a guy get hit in the groin over and over again.

Ditto that. Especially the "hilarious and hot" part. However, her show does still seem to be looking for its groove, if you will. It's nowhere near as funny as her standup material. Hopefully, in time, the show will find itself. In the meantime, though, she's still hot which makes it worth watching as it goes through its growing pains.

The last episode where she thinks she has AIDS is awesome. The other ones have been kinda meh though.

I think she is hilarious. Also, looking like this doesn't hurt.

I don't get her either................pretty skanky to me. But like one post stated..............very subjective what is funny to each person.

Me...........I like english humor like Monty Python; Benny Hill; The Good Neighbors; and the old SNL of the early 80's.

She was in the movie I believe School For Scoundrels that I just watched. It looked like her but she had no funny lines really.

Maybe she is a decent comedian but if her show is her writers or her personal stuff...............she needs to fire and rehire then. That show will go away trust me. And that damn so called comedian that has comedians on his talk show that is featuring Seinfeld this Wednesday David something is his name...................he sucks with a capital "S". Now that is a true WTF?

I could get past the first 10 min. of Jesus is Magic. I sent the DVD back to Netflix. She was funny when she first started out but as she goes on she gets less and less funny.

However (threadjack comming) she is nowhere the suckage that is Tim And Eric Awsome Show, Good Job.

Her show is amazingly hilarious. I was never a big fan of hers but I happened on the show the first week and have been watching it since.

It's outstanding.

Regarding hotness, she's almost hot. But those ridiculously broad shoulders ruin it for me.

Every time I see her on TV, it makes me want to punch babies.

She's just annoying. I get the Larry David humor now...he's funny to me after several years. I can't stand her voice either.

I gave it another chance. I watched the lesbian episode. It had it moments, but not enough to sustain continued viewing. I guess i dont find blatant narcissim very funny. I do get that it's her attempt at social commentary on the current "hey look at me, im great" generation, but it's just not entertaining.

I really was hoping the lesbian chick would have cold cocked her right in the mouth at the end the episode.

And i gave Tim and Eric another chance. It still sucks balls.

i find many of her observations to be funny. i find most of her deliveries of said observations to be annoying.

I second that about Tim and Eric...couldnt even get through the first 5 minutes. Same goes for Saul of the Molemen.

Because she's funny, and manages to make an impression - hence the reason why you were compelled to come here and start a thread about her.

I recall several years ago my nephews were watching some Britcom and one of them complained that it wasn't very funny. His six year old brother responded, "It's not supposed to be funny. It's British comedy."
