Even if it does, I won't ride one...

It is very interesting, but when I saw it, my initial thought was, "Just because you can doesn't mean you should."

:D

Another fine example of British humor?

The article says it all. A normal bike reprogrammed by a software designer.!!

+1

The story points out a couple of "minor" kinks -- only 60 percent of all riders are coordinated enough to ride one, and you have a blind spot to traffic . . . other than that, I'm sure everyone will be lining up to buy one :D

Get's my "It might be a sign . . . " award

Possibly the dumbest bike idea ever.

I think I much prefer this kind of sideways biking:

Especially that little one from part-way down the page!

I've got $200 burning a hole in my pocket until that one comes out at Christmas!

I plan on riding it through the Shire to impress all of my hobbit friends.

I saw the second one, smaller wheels, on the news the other day and thought what all you guys are saying...It will never go as something on the bike store shelves, or I should say it will stay on the shelves... a toy at best peace

With two forks, is the carbon fiber version twice as likely to fail unexpectedly?
