But he's got a damn quick draw on the ban button.
:D
Both in my age range :p.
Plus I might just be a better shot...
That's not the kind of thing you'd want to bet your life on though.

Oh, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
East Hill

I have a sidesaddle on there with 3 rounds of game loads, and 3 slugs.

Shoot the slugs and I'll take you.
One condition, I get to use my Lee Enfeild. I swear I could pick off a Horsefly from 500 yards.

I just found out the .308 Winchester shot I've been using isn't made for the rifle and I should be using 7.62X51 NATO instead.
I haven't had any problems yet but it's recommended I switch. Dammit.

My husband has a rifle that uses that 7.62 X 51, it's one of the nicest shooting rifles he's got. Unfortunately, it weighs a ton, and it's too big for me. Still, I can shoot it in a pinch and it's extremely accurate.

I would have to notice this just after he went to the range with it! I know it's a NATO round, and that the rifle's a Czech made firearm.
Also, one of my rifles is a .308 Winchester, and he's never told me that I could potentially mix up the two rounds, but he has so many odd calibres now I can't keep track :D .
I'll edit later.

I know for a fact it's not 54, that would make my life a lot easier. I've never found 51 before.
The rifle in question is a Lee Enfield 2a1.

This is what I'm blabbering about. I know my rifle isn't 7.62X54, I just found out it takes 7.62X51, not .308 Winchester. If it took 7.62X54 I could get some whenever as it's easier to find then 7.62X51.

Did you notice that part where I was quoting East Hill when I asked that? I've never heard of 7.62x51, but I know that 7.62x54 and 7.62x39 are both easy to find.

Ah, never noticed that. Sorry.
And ya, last night was my first time hearing of 7.62X51, I've heard of the others.

Now I am really embarrassed :o . My husband's gotten home with it and it's a 9.3 X 62, made by CZ Arms. Still a beautiful rifle, and a very accurate rifle, even with me shooting it.

7.62x54 Dragunov - they'll never even hear it.

7.62x51 is the NATO round that is REALLY close to the 308 Winchester...one is a 'commercial' round the other military...
I had a Russian Mosin Nagant that used the 7.62x54R...beast of a rifle, but accurate

The only sigificant difference is the gas pressure, I believe the NATO round is 50,000psi and the Winchester is 62ish.
Either way, this is one of the most well rounded guns I've fired.

Guns dont kill people, stupid people kill people.
Guns dont kill people, stupid people kill people.
i firmly disagree, bullets kill people, people fire guns, not all people that fire guns are stupid, therefore people kill people, the level of intelligence has nothing to do with it (in most cases)

I hate cops.
i've kinda given up hateing them. all the ones i've had experiences with have been pretty chill about **** and i figure "hey, their just doing their job". that might change if i ever get caught by a dickish one

Yeah, dick cops are no good, but if you're polite and respectful to them, they often return the act. I've been pulled over three times, and never gotten anything more than a written warning. I guess my focus is just too fast.

Most cops have been bad to me just because I ride a bike. But even as a cripple, they haven't been so kind to myself and my family.

When I ride my BMX the cops pay more attention and hassle me a bit more then when i'm on my MTB or Tallbike.

realistically i cant blame them. they associate little bikes to little kids, as they should. so, seeing a kid on a little bike they natrally watch them closer. but that doesnt give them the right to be didlos to us.
