SRAM is due to release a track specific crank and others parts later on this year. OEM providers get first dibs but the general market will be able to purchase aftermarket parts in the near future. MSRP is not yet stated and no information is available on their homepage, yet.

Am I the only who thinks that 2 piece track cranks are a bad idea? Good for stiffening up steel frames and what not, but about adjustment? I mean you can't use different BBs like on the old standard to get your chainline correct...

Virtually all real track stuff is 42mm, futzing with chainline is for clowns like me who run conversions and road cranks and stuff.

I mad my road conversion a 42mm it wasn't hard at all but it was a little fin bbspindle wise oh and there are spacers for the external bbs

Same here, I'm just saying that only for this kind of stuff do you need to futz with BB lengths, for track cranks you just buy the crank and the right BB and forget it.
