It's cold and snowy here in upstate NY (just had 9 feet of snow fall last week about an hour north of me, in Oswego County!!!). But, that hasn't kept me off the roads!! I'm a recent college graduate in Enviro Policy, and an avid cyclist, mechanic, and advocate. I ride road, track, and mountain bikes. I am also a bike mechanic. The only bike I own that I didn't build myself is my 2004 Trek 1500. My other bikes are: a 2005 Fetish Cycles D&S mountain bike (my race bike), a 2005 Fetish Cycles Position track bike (my commuter), and a 2007 Fetish Cycles Discipline mountain bike that I use as my all-weather beater (currently converted to a single-speed for winter ease). Email me if you're interested in the component make-up of those.
I'm possible moving to the west-coast in the next couple months, which would be great for my biking addiction. we'll see!
In my free time I teach kids how to mountain bike.
