Road Cycling - another new bike thread....

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

was delivered last week, and i finally had a chance to take pics. haven't put any miles on her yet since i've been on my mt bike all week. soon, my sweet new baby, soon.
Nice looking bike! I love those wheels!
Congratulations, Tech Ninja! Nice bike.
Is it true that it has a 'quick release' seatpost clamp? I would replace that with a fixed one as soon as you have found your optimum saddle position. IMHO, it looks better, weighs less and is less thief-friendly.

yup, there is a quick release on it. was planning on changing that, as well as the pedals and the stem. thanks for the suggestion.
and thanks everyone for the kind words. i've been aching to ride her, but my riding partners are all on mt bikes, so i ride my mt bike w/them. i do know one person who rides road, a bianchi as well, same year but the steel counterpart of mine, but i'll have to work my way up to ride w/him on his 40+ mile rides.
Nice bike! :) How much did you pay? And what's with all the credit card POS machines??

oh yeah, so my lbs had em for $1350 forever, then finally dropped the price to $1200, but only had 2 left in the size up from what i wanted. then i found this baby on sale at supergo for $870. it's msrp is $1450. so deal of the century for me.

btw, supergo's website says that they won't do websales for the bianchis, but if you call them up, they will make an exception since they're wanting to clear out their stock.
