Has anyone tried Pearl Izumi Microsensor shorts with Fusion Technology,3D Chamois and chafe free flatlock seams. I am looking to find an actual chafe free pair of shorts Thanks all.

I have found them to be great. They are far superior to anything else I have tried. Have not experienced any problems. They come at a stiff price though.....how much is you backside worth???? It was worth $110.00 to me.

Having recoverd from my first saddle sore, it was worth throwing out the cheap shorts that caused it.

Oh yeah the $110.00 is not a problem, if they will prevent chafing. Thanx for the info Ya'll. I found them on performance bike for $59.99. I think I will be getting myself a pair or 2.

i dunno which performance bike you're talking about, but the one i'm looking at tells me they're $120:

Maybe you clicked on the ultrasensor shorts, with the PRT chamois?

Even that is $79
anyways.... it's hard to believe that anyone would be selling the microsensor's at $59.... i bet that's below dealer cost!!

Be careful...there are "ultrasensor" and "microsensor" models. The high-end 3D model I use is the microsensor model. The model you are looking at is the cheaper ultrasensor model. Deliriou5 is correct with what he is saying.

Yep you are correct. I was looking at he Attack shorts with the PRT Chamois. Thats fine the microsensor model is the one that I am interested in. Comfort is my main concern, price is secondery. If I can ride my bike 50-100 miles without the chafing that I get now the $120.00 is well worth it. Thanx to everyone for the info.
