Need help trying to find storage for a bike box. Anyone know of anywhere close to the airport that might offer the service (bike shop maybe?).
Or does anyone know if there are lockers or left luggage where I can leave a bike bag for 9 days. I've already emailed the airport, but am told I can;t leave bike bags there.

Many thanks

I don't know about your airport, but I stored a box containing my bike at a baggage storage facility in the Frankfurt airport for a fee. It was in the main part of the airport not far from baggage claims. I believe cost me about 6 euros a day, though. Hope you can find a similar place there.

I know you've probably taken care of this by now (I hope!), but in addition to the airports, some larger Bahnhöfe have storage facilities as well, and are much more likely to be in your neighborhood, if you ever needed storage for a reason besides flying. The main train station in Frankfurt and also in Berlin (Friedrichstraße) had some options, at least.

This may be to late, but according to http://www.travelchannel.de/magazin/reiseratgeber/fliegen/airports/deutschland/stuttgart.html there is a "Gepäckaufbewahrung" (luggage storage) at Terminal 3.

Hope this helps.

Hey, thanks for that. We've decided to go with soft bags and padding, but we'll still need storage for it.

If you are ever in Stuttgart again, you are more than welcome to store your cycle bags in my garage.
