Velo Vol about to go on another ride in the freezer. Temperatures in the mid-30s, wind chill in the mid-20s. Brrrrrr.

We had great weather back in December, got a few rides in during Christmas week, with temps in the 40's. By February, it was below zero. Looking forward to spring now.

Charlotte Racquet Club has indoor courts. I've played my best tennis on carpet in Germany. In CLT, though, I play with a wild and crazy and diverse group of people on the public courts. Kinda like what a Foo tennis group would be! :eek: :)

And regarding VegaVixen's pre-emptive "NO," I'd settle for pics of Foo ladies in their winter jammies.:D

This pic was taken during the Stagecoach Century last month in the desert starting in a town called Ocotillo. It was a miserably cold ride, starting out at 30 degrees. I think the warmest it got that day was 47. Like merider1, I'm used to mild SoCal winters and this ride made me an official cold weather riding wimp. :o

That was taken at the Butterfield Double Century on Saturday and I was already sweltering when I started at 5:30 a.m. I rode with my jersey fully unzipped most of the day and actually had to stop several times to dunk my head under faucets because I was having issues with overheating...we had record temps that day I think!
