Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Just throwing in a good word for Nite Rider. My light system mysteriously stopped working a week ago, so I gave them a call. They gave me an RMA, and I sent everything in. The estimated it would take them at least two weeks to test and repair everything. A week later I got it back, all cleaned up, and working as good as new!

I'd expect that on a $500 light.

Same here, but I have seen worse from other companies. Its refreshing when companies do the right thing. ;)

It's what you would expect but not normaly get. I've had horrible customer service on things, like my television I bought a panasonic HDTV television 6 months old and it died, and they had it for 3 months to fix it, returned it to me twice still broken.

I've experienced much the same from Nightrider. I sent back a light that died on me after over a year of heavy use and abuse.

They sent me a replacement - no questions asked. When a big company does the right thing, it is worth noting!

A Nightrider Storm or Blowtorch up here normally retails for $650.00 Canadian. Whats that, $470.00 US?

I guess it would be useful for total darkness riding, I always use mine for commuting in the city where street lights are plentyful
