My Super Sport will be needing new crank bearings and races when it comes back from Dr. D's. Where's a good place to get some?

Does that really use a one-piece ashtabula crank like the Varsentenials? Harris has a page of parts for those: http://sheldonbrown.com/harris/opc.html#opc

On mine I used an adapter similar to the TruVativ listed there and put a cartridge BB in it. It was really easy except that I had to make a ghetto press to install it. The tricky bit was that one washer had to be drilled out to allow room for the retainer screws to thread in as the adapter was pressed in -- this ensures that the two sides are in proper orientation. You can't just use the screws to draw the two sides in. If you decide to go this route I'd be happy to lend you the drilled washer that's the critical piece.

+1 although I didn't need a press to get it in. YMMV.
