This guy made this bike film a while back and is sumbitting it for some reality TV show. I thought it was pretty cute, but I want to see a fixie remake in the city. Oh well, chchcheck it out.

i feel like in an urban setting with a fixie the bike messager would look a lot more like the theif in this one

A fixie/messenger remake would be amazing. The Bicycle Film Festival is still taking submissions if you can do it before March 1st. http://www.bicyclefilmfestival.com/ :D I totally would try if I had 1) more time and 2) a video camera. Oh well.

I watched this same thing yesterday after someone posted it on craigslist.

I don't know what to think of it. Not bad considering he did it 10 years ago on super 8 film (which is the **** by the way, love the vintage look), but I sure hope the guy has progressed by now. Great novelty effect but not much lasting substance, though it's mildly entertaining.

But maybe I'm just a joykill too. A messenger remake would be great if properly done.
