I'm in Denver. Where you at?
[edit]
okay. My resolution was to ride 3000mi this year. Thanks to the lovely weather, I'm a little behind. I'll get there, though. Rode today at lunch and stuff...
I will stop eating junk right after it finally kills me.
I am riding more, even though it is only the trainer
If I did not use BF at work I would go sane.

I don't remember my resolutions...if any. But it has been over a month since I had cooked food! I just need to get back out hiking more. January was a rough month for us physically, and we're still trying to recover from that!
I also want to do yoga on a daily basis. Maybe one or two live classes a month. :)

Shadie, I loves ya, but I don't really see that as a good thing? I mean, cooked food tastes SOOOO good and doesn't have to be bad for ya....

1) Check, started last week, no more soda, extra cheese and cheese, less red meat, less beer : (
2) Am now commited to the trainer and weight program I set up this week, ready for a competive season.
3) Yeah right...
Try to procrastinate less: uhhh, I'll start tomorrow
how original
No, really. It was kinda my new years resolution to try to procrastinate less and just get stuff done ahead of time. So far, it's not working out too well.

While I agree that its not for everyone, I always feel my ultimate best when I am eating a predominatly raw vegan diet. :) It's about how I feel that matters the most to me when it comes to food. Eating this way has changed my life in so many ways.
Yes, cooked food does taste good and I have indulged in it from time to time and no, it doesn't have to be bad for you, either. I still love cooking for people I care about. But, it doesn't make me feel as amazing and full of energy as when I do not eat it. Its the difference between night and day for me. :)
Besides, people say the say the same thing about meat when it comes to vegetarianism. Its sooo good and and it can be healthy too! Well, yes that all is true. I just don't prefer it.

I do have a weakness for good beer, wine and coffee that I need to reduce my intake on. :) I think I'll work on that as well. :)
I'm right on track

Damn! Don't worry, Vega. Your time will come. ;)
So far I am training more, hopefully getting faster and stronger. I have also gone from 191 on 1/1/07 down to 175 on 2/21/07. My mileage is down a bit from last year though. I am currently only at 875 miles for 2007. Overall I'm not too far off track.

Awww thanks! You're such a sweetie! Its kind of fun, I have to admit. :) Right now its doing this flippy thing at the end where I feel a bit like either Mary Tyler Moore or the mom from the Brady Bunch! LOL It's not really that bad, I'm just not quite used to it yet.
I think you would pull off the Sinead O'Connor thing better than me! ;)

That would sure make for a great practical joke, though! Get one of those bald caps and put it on in the middle of the night. When he wakes up in the morning he will have the surprise of his life!! :D

Dropped from 197 to 174 since New Year's, biking on the trainer 6 sessions/wk coupled with free-weights. Those adorable lovehandles are ALMOST gone. I only drink socially now, and limit that to a few beers. I also have ramped up the cooking, and have been eating really well. I love cooking.
Excercising and dieting is much easier than making myself finishing the master's though. Once I get that out the door I'm going on a long bike-tour, hopefully to Switzerland to visit my sis.

Riding 3000 miles: So far, one ride this year for 22.77 miles - stinking weather and work. :(
I did get a "new" bike last week - which ought to help when I can get back on the road.

That's great, you have less than 2,978 miles to go. I don't see the problem! :p
Also, congratulations on the new Bob Jackson. Those are one of my favorite bikes.

Thanks. In theory, I need to lose some more weight to ride it. Guess I'll have to do that by riding 2,978 miles. :D
Meh. I didn't kill anyone, I'm in decent health and I try to be kind to others until they give me reason not too. I'm doing fine if you ask me.
As far as any goals, I wanted to lose weight and have lost a few pounds.

I was going to get back into triathlons, and so far I've been sticking to my training program. I've built a tri bike and have singned up for a few races. My goal is a half Iron Man at the end of the summer.
