Hi Ron here, outside DC in Alexandria. I have a '88 Schwinn High Sierra, a '06 Montaque Hummer3 and a '06 Fuji Crosstown. Am working up to commute to work. I am a former aircraft mechanic and turn all my own wrenches if possible. The Montaque has been driving me crazy, and after I checked the gearwheel with a dial indicator, I know why. .04" total run-out in less then 2" (.012 on one side, then .028" the other side). The darn gearwheel is riveted to the crank arm, so am considering my best course of action. Look forward to being part of the community.

The handle is Japanese and is word my ex used to call me....
