I am planning to do Venice to London carrying a full pack to wild camp as much as poss. My entire packs only come to 15 kg, not a great deal and am use to doing 1000 miles with this in 14 days climbing 1400m and 2100m, last years journey. I wonder if anyone can suggest a route that they enjoyed and also would like to know from the Italian side pass Venice to the top of the Alps how many days are needed and is doing 50 miles a day whilst climbing realistic.
