So I know I should know this, but I don't... Yesterday I took the day off and was playing around in the garage. I decided that I had enough spare parts to build a complete bike, five hours later I had two completes a geared and an ss. The frames are older and have canti mounts, so I can't use disc's in the rear. I know you can't use canti levers w/ v-brakes, but I was wondering if cable pull disc levers had a similar cable pull ratio to V-levers? Specifically can use use Hayes MX-2 levers w/ Avid Single Digit brakes? Thanks

Every Modern disc brake I've run into uses the same pull as V-brakes. This includes the Hayes MX2s.
In short, yes, your proposed combination will work great.

Thank you very much. I thought they would work, but I just wasn't sure
