I have an 1857 penny. The back side has been worn off, so it's probably only worth a few dollars, but it's by far the oldest item I have. The next oldest thing is probably a coin from the 1930s.
I don't have any antiques.
How about you?
The land my house sits on is millions of years old.

I have a computer from ancient Egypt. It is about 5000 years old. It only has 12Kb of RAM.
The story goes that Ramses II once said "who would ever need more than 12Kb or RAM?".

Besides old coins? I have a wrist watch that is a family airloom from the 1920s. I also have an old set of prison handcuffs from the turn of the century.
My SONY stereo system is from the mid 80s and still works and sounds great. Their stuff kicked *ss back then.

Dirt. I got dirt old enough to be older than dirt.
The first thing that I have is an old wooden chest its a couple hundred years old, the next thing is the baby ring my parents gave me when I was born, so not that old but old to me. :)

I found a stone axe underneath my house during the renovations.

Ownership is an illusion!
Anyway, my pappy gave me a book on Euclidean geometry that was printed in the 1860s. And there's the partial spear points that are who knows how many thousands of years old.

Amid great fanfare, the professor awarded each student a small container of water drawn from Walden Pond (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walden_Pond). I think she went up there every few years and stocked up with a few gallons.

Man, we used to go skinny-dipping in Walden Pond all the time when I lived in Massachussetts. Never seemed like we were gettin' our culture on...just our hormones.

I will soon be in posession of an ancient ring dagger (assassin tool). by ancient I mean it's at least 500 years old....I was reading up and it may be far older than that....I might see if I can get it dated.
This link is a really crude version of what I am talking about...the one I am getting is made of silver and is quite ornate. http://bloodsport.com/images/f%20dagger%20copy.jpg
for oldest I have right now, I have a straight razor that was confirmed 1921 as the last year of that model's production.
A few 19th century coins. My favorite 'old' thing is my Esterbrook bakelite, glass & chrome inkwell that is filled, on my desk and used daily. It's the same as one my grandfather had. I wanted his but it got lost in the chaos of winding up his estate. Here is the nearest facsimile I could find. My pen is all black, not clear on top like the ones shown.
I have a chair that goes back to Louis the 14th.
Why won't Loius let you keep it for the whole month?

My piano has been in the family for 4 or 5 generations, it's probably about 100 years old. Mason & Hamlin. My most treasured "old" thing by a longshot.
My house itself is probably about 190 years old. Despite the age, I'm only the 5th owner.
And then there's the antiques. My family was in the business for a few generations, so I grew up surrounded by old stuff. Probably half the furniture in my house is 100+ years old. I'm not sure what the oldest piece is, but I'm a fan of early American colonial stuff, so the majority is from that period.
I have a chair that goes back to Louis the 14th.
Got any pics of it? One of my aunts was big in to Louis 14 stuff. It always seemed too flashy for me though.

oldest thing I have in regular use is a (I believe) 1973 McIntosh amp (2100). Still sounds better than the current mid-fi gear and a lot of current hi-fi gear!!

A coin from ancient Greece, dating back preRoman. Actually back to about the time of the Battle of Thermoplae and the coin is from Sparta in Greece. It's been authenticated as well. It's pretty cool, actually! It dates back to around 480 BC.

No, there isn't a date on it. It's a hand stamped silver coin. The dating was done by a specialist in Greek coins. It's a Tetradrachm coin made in Sparta around that time +/- about 50 years. It's not particularly valuable, maybe $8500.00 right now.
