How many states have mtb high school teams? I know Cal has teams and I think CO has teams but I think I read that GA or AL have them also. I wish my high school had that when I was in school. Would have been a lot more fun than wind sprints at football practice.

where in montgomery do you live? i've been here for about 3 years, but i just got into cycling....

we have a "group" at our school here in Bend, Oregon. it includes me and one other guy along with our teacher. but the other school (our school has 130 or so students) has a much larger "team" with around 10-20 riders. we ride with them a lot.
but our school got a HUGE grant and got 25 Trek mountain bikes (front suspention only) so in our PE class we go biking, hiking, climbing, fishing, frisbee golf, and a bunch of other cool stuff... our school kicks some major booty!:D
