yeah I'm not even bothering trying to connect today. with the area they're in and the weather today, it's gonna be a lost cause.

How can rain f'up the internet? You setup you gear in a dry location, connect to the web and do your coverage, what's the challenge in that? The TDF moves a city of media every day rain or shine and never drops coverage, hell the crazy french copter pilots even fly IFR in bad weather to get the job done. This is BS.

I have video of ventura and the velo news ass but no audio, great. This sucks big time. Meanwhile over at Velo News the boys are approaching the Big Sur sprint.

I'm at work using the bosses OC3 which has 50megs of bandwidth but I don't think that is making a big difference.................Damn I don't know just lucky I guess.........

Pretty cool. Watching the fullscreen version (pixelated and all). Good audio too. Should provide some nice entertainment for the roller ride today.

Thanks, I have been afraid to touch anything on the sight after I got audio and video working, now I have full screen pixelated.

Getting video and audio right now. Despite the somewhat low image quaility, I am pretty psyched on the coverage. The Canadian OLN is not covering this.

I don't know what to tell you, once I get everything working I am afraid to touch anything on the site. email the boys at amgentoc2007@yahoo.com perhaps the tech guy who's on site with Robbie and the Velo News ass can help you.

Yep...for me too.

it's working pretty well for the moment, but for me the audio is about 10 seconds in front of the video (which took the excitement out of the KOM points)

works great for me now.

audio syncs up fine. they need to put the camera on the race and not the analysts, i'm tired of seeing Borat and his two friends for 10 minutes straight.

Everything seems to be working quite well now.
