Mountain Biking - Bought 03 Bike but got 02 Fox Forx Manual.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Is there a difference between the 03 and 02 model forks? I have a Float 100RL on a Stumpjumper FSR Comp.
The fork might be an 02 model while the bike is an 03. Is that possible?

I just bought (ordered) a 2003 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp. No question it is a 2003 model as there was a backup in production because of fork delays, and I had email conversations with Specialized about how long it was taking to get my bike. Specialized confirmed it was a front fork delay. Any way, I have had the bike about 3 weeks and the front fork manual says "2002 Fox Forx Owners Manual" and the rear says "2003 Rear Shock Owners Manual". I think they just stuck old manuals in because there is no changes in the front fork (Fox Float 100 RL).
The only problem I have is that red blood clashes with the yellow paint!
The manual you can download from the Fox site says its 02 also, so I assume there were no changes in the operation and such for the fork/shock.
I emailed Fox and they sent me the 03 manual in pdf format. This is what the email said ...
"There is no difference other updated valving in the 03'model. The 03' fork has a solid crown and on the decal the words "RL" are in red ink."
I think I have an 03.
