Well I was talking to mom tonight. Telling that I got my back back and all... and she say's "Well Bill is going to fix up that old bike up in the shop for me to ride. Repaint it and put new parts on it."

After a long pause I ask her what type it is and how old it is. She said Schwinn and 1950's sometime.

Well needless to say I asked her to hold off on doing that and send me some pics and any numbers she can find on it. So I'll be pestering her (cause I know you all will be) for pics.

I'll post more as soon as I have it.

Yes! Pictures, pictures, pictures, before she paints. Who knows, someone might offer her $1000s for an old Schwinn and then she buy a nice new bike and still put money in the bank.

Pastor Bob could be right! It would be a shame for her to get it repainted and lose most of the value of the original unrestored bike.

Yes, have her hold off on painting or anything other than cleaning it up.
Painting can kill it's value, and she might be just as happy with a new cruiser.
