Are you tempted to get more thinking one Superflash might not be enough? That's how I feel at the moment. Personally, I think one Superflash is bright enough, but I'm thinking about adding perhaps two Superflash to the existing Superflash I have.
Is one really enough? (Very rhetorical question it is.)

I'm running 2 Superflashes and a TL-LD 1000 out back. One light is never enough.:D
IMO, one is slightly less than enough and two might be a little too much (though many here don't think that's possible) ;)
I intended to run the superflash low on the seatstay and a Dinotte on the seatpost. I may make that two superflash since the dinotte mount isn't working for me right now.
I've had two superflash for some time but early on I had bikes with odd-shaped seatstays that the mount wouldn't work with. I just realized the other day that my current bikes all have normal seatstays so there's no reason I can't mount them there now. My current plan is to mount something low on the left seatstay and something else on the seatpost, or rack when I finally get around to buying one.
1 is enough. If you want more lighting put something else on. Two superflash's going at different rates would be death.

Two of them? Maybe, but I don't think it's necessary for me on my commute. YMMV...
If you are really concerned get a buddy to ride your bike around the block. Follow along behind them at different distances and angles and see what you think. I agree that more may not always necessary or better. Just take a minute and make up your own mind.

I like having two, just in case one breaks, falls off, is carried off by a passing raptor or whatever. One on the rear rack, and one on the back of the helmet for that low/high action...
I have one ziptied to the back of my helmet. I'd be afraid that two would cause a seizure for a driver behind me.

IMO no. I have the Dinotte tail light, a SF on my helmet, another SF on my pannier, a LD1000 on my rack, two LED reflective strips on my panniers, a LED reflective vest, and another small red light coming off of the back of my Dinotte 3W helmet light. I'm overkill probably, but I really think the Dinotte tail is amazing back there. Here is a link with some pics.

For commuting I use 2, 1 on the bike and 1 attached to my reflective vest. For brevets I use 3, 1 on each chain stay and 1 on the Carradice saddle bag.

I get my two on the carradice - they fit real good in each of those top leather 'slots' on the Pendle. Only downside is if I really stuff the bag to capacity, the angle is too high, in which case I just put one back on the normal blinky strap. ;)

I always ride with my TREK rear trunk bag on the rack on my bicycle. On it, I might be able to clip one to a small tab on the back of the trunk bag. I can't mount a light on the frame under the seat because it would always be obscurred by the trunk bag. I have a Vistalite Super Nebulus 5 that I could mount on the end of the rack. Would another Superflash be better instead?
What would you suggest? Please give me some imput.

I run two, usually both blinking. One on the left seat stay, just above the hub and one on the right seat stay, just above the brake bridge. I'm going for obnoxiously visible I guess.

On the rear of rack equipped hardtail:
A tld1k on the seatpost, 3 superflash facing straight back and 1 each facing the rear corners.

The more the merrier.
I run three (for now).
One low on the left seat stay tilted slightly up (traffic side).
One on my helmet (nice and light - I hardly notice it).
One on my messenger bag (for that randomly oriented look).
I'm thinking about a 4th for either the seatpost or high on the right seat stay.
All in blinking mode.
The other day a coworker drove in behind me and asked "don't you worry about airplanes mistaking you for runway lights and squashing you from above?"
I guess I'm willing to take that risk.
I think the more the better...too a point. I think that if you had 3 tailights, one fastened to the seatpost and the other two on the rear stays to form a triangle of light would be the idea setup (you could also add barend lights if you have dropbars).
I disagree with the blinking mode, because lights blinking have confused drivers about the distance they are from the object blinking, and if blinking lights were safer then why do cars not have blinking lights and why do most countries recommend steady lights? BUT that's just my opinion which ain't worth much!
My current set up is just one steady light on the seat post a Cateye TLLD600 and barend lights that DO flash but that's only to save the little button batteries lives. I am considering buying two Superflashers and mounting those on the stays (if their mount will allow being mounted on the stays) and leave the 600 on the seat post; all of which would be on steady and leave the barends flashing. Or buy another 600 mount those on the stays and mount 1 Superflasher on the seat post if the Superflasher won't adapt to the stays.

I don't know the brand of my rear blinkies, but I run 4 on my backpack in different positions and 1 on my seat stem, 3 on blink, 2 on solid, and am looking at picking up anouther 2 or so just because. So I'd say get at least eleventy more, if people arn't pulling over thinking your a police car, you're not visible enough yet.

It is pretty visible during the day, especially if you have it on the blink mode.

It can be seen, but what's the point? I would see little use for it if you ride on an open road in broad daylight. But if you ride in a shaded area, against the rising sun or in similarly difficult conditions, then the flashing mode will really help.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing today. I am thinking of getting another this weekend when I pick up a new seat for my bike at the LBS.

I use a blinky during the day in the winter or in rainy weather to help get the attention of distracted drivers. I find that drivers give me more room when they pass if I have the blinky on.
