Mountain Biking - Finally! 3000 posts and still going strong!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just hit the 3000 post mark!
I'd say about 95% in the mtn bike forum!
Wow, I remember when I hit 100 and thought I did a lot of posting!

90% of my posts are here...but I do get quite a few in general and fitness. :)
Something I noticed. Us humble forum peasants will never rival the moderators as they have access to a script that guarantees their numbers will always be the highest.

Me neither, just one of the oldest, current, very active posters. Check the Join date. Few (besides Joe) in the top 10 are close to me.
If I start ranking, "back in the gud ole dayz", just politely stop me, or ignore me!

I see I'm only on page 2... :( However, I've only been on this forum for about a year. We'll see what happens in the coming year.
I see ChrisL is a loudmouth, as usual...

Hehe Koffee, you just don't talk enough. To be a poster of ChrisL's stature, you must be the chatty type, or the noisy mind type.

hey cool! i'm actually on page 1 - #25!
and like Maelstrom i joined later than most of the big posters...
although since my posts tend to be longer than others, maybe we should should count words or characters posted - then i think i would be way up there...
but hey, as long as there's cool stuff to talk about (cycling and mountain biking) - i'll keep on posting.
and cool a2psyklnut - not only do you post a lot, but what you have to say is worth reading...
hey Maelstrom - some day i'll make it back out to Whistler - i used to go back in '98-'02. we'll have to meet up and ride! would be fun i think!
and of course you guys are all invited to come ride in the Alps with me!

Methinks word count or length is a good idea. Here goes:
I the illustrious personification, indisputable, indefatigible, insurrectionist who with a fine disregard for floccinaucinihipilification (yes, there is such a word) meanders magnificently upon strata of stupendous geology and prefers the noble pursuit of mechanical assistance to arduous perambulation.
10 posts-worth added to my count, thank you Joe.;) tada...

Well lets get the whole thing put on screen for folks so as not to make us big posters look so bad...
first off, when we joined, the site was no where near as expansive as it is now...Plus, there weren't as many users, less users means less threads means lees to talk about means less posts..Yup, back when we where rackin up the numbers, we have to do what we could with what we had where we were. So there!! Plus, try maintaining 5 or 6 plus posts a day over two or more years!!!

:)...it would definately be easier now...however 5 posts takes a few minutes if they are normal. Unless I am explaining something really indepth then it can go for a bit (with me shuffling through papers over here in order to prove a point)
Hmmm.... Chris yaps. I diatribe... there's a difference! ;)
Maybe I can be more nosey instead?

If you re-traced all your posts from the beginning, you could probably write a good book on mountain biking :)
