Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum, I live in Toronto, and it's finally the spring here, so no more icebiking for a while! I ride a Mikado "de Champlain" (made in Canada, of course) and I like cyclotouring and cyclocamping.

Hello Claire! Nice to see another Canuck here. Even better, a touring Canuck!

Cheers!

Hello from Québec.

I still love touring but haven't done much lately, as we have two daughters, 7 and 3. For the last 2 years, I have done a short 5-6 day tour with the oldest daughter on her trailercycle (going to my mother's home in Trois-Rivières via different routes, which means 2 days of riding per direction). We might do something longer this year, depending on the weather.

Ialso do lots of day trips with both daughters -- me towing a trailercycle and a child trailer --, plus lots of utility cycling. I'm one of those who find that a touring bike by itself is a lightweight bike...

Regards,
