A viewer called the WNBC tipline (1-866-NEWS-CH4) with information about the rats. When NewsChannel 4 reporter Adam Shapiro visited the restaurant, he was shocked when he saw several rats running wild across the floor.

The New York City Department of Health recently said the restaurant had a clean bill of health. However, after the rats were captured on video, the Health Department vowed to do another inspection.

one of Norfolk's finest. They run on the phone wires going from dumpster to
dumpster in my town. Great air-rifle targets.

Dude..............that's funny! One shot; one kill?

Wow. Rats. In an NYC eatery. Who'd'a thunk it?

But seriously, don't kill 'em. They're the only thing holding the roach population down.

My thoughts exactly. I thought the same thing a few years ago when London England announced they were going to wipe out all the pidgeons. A few years before the plagues carried by rats wiped out half the population, they eradicated all cats due to witchcraft.

In some eateries, the rats add to the flavor of the food... Take them away, and nobody would come.
