I've noticed that the pedals on my cannondale T800 triple aren't spaced evenly from the centerline of the bike. It's not a huge difference (maybe a centimeter), but over a longer day I notice a difference in the fatigue in my right and left leg.

Is it normal to have the spacing between bottom bracket and pedal be different from left to right side?? Is it just the BB/Crank combination that I happen to have, or is this just the nature of the beast?

I posted in the road forum as well, but figured touring folks would have more experience with triples and thus maybe a better knowledge base.

Thanks!

This is normal. I believe that double cranks are asymmetric as well, just not so much. however, I suspect that the extra fatigue in your right leg is due to pedaling harder with it than your left simply because that is your stronger leg. Unless you are left handed (legged?) you would naturally favor the right leg over the left.
