hey my fellow Houstonians!

can you all recommend some local bike stores (that you do business with / are good) here in Houston? I've searched them on google but there are so many in this city!

Depends on your location. I like Boone Cycles just south of downtown. Northwest Cycles in the northwest part of town. Bike Barn is pretty good too and they are all over. There is a nice shop in the Greenway area that I just can't remember right now. It's between Richmond and Westhiemer around Weslyn.

I just rembered the name. Bikesport

There's a great bike store near you it's Sun and Ski Sport on Westheimer and Greenbriar (I think). It's between Fountainview and Hillcroft in the same shopping center as The Palms Restaurant. The guys there are very friendly, honest and knowledgeable. Stop by and see what you think.

I'll second Sun and Ski on Westheimer. Great store, employees, and selection. Also, they sell Bianchi. ;)

If you find yourself a little more south, check out Southwest Schwinn at S. Braeswood and Fondren. Another great shop.

thanks bros! Sun and Ski is definitely close to home. I will check them this weekend! I'll tell my brother about the Schwinn shop, yeamac. He is thinking of getting a Schwinn bike but is 50/50. He says a huff bike to commute is enough. lol
