At the end of the month I'm moving in with a couple friends of mine, and we'll have a total of 6 bikes, and often have friends who have bikes come over. anyone know of any great indoor bike storage ideas? we're turning the dining room into a bike workshop, so we've got a little bit of room to play with, at least along one wall.

We were thinking trying to get the type of racks they have at bike shops, but that may be a little expensive. anyways, any suggestions are definitely appreciated.

There's a bunch here: http://www.coloradocyclist.com/common/products/displayproductlist_v2.cfm?&CGRFNBR=142&CRPCGNBR=142&TextMode=0&CI=1,156 ...you can probably build some options yourself based on these setups.

Some good suggestions there ^^^.

Most of us just wind up running out of room in the garage (assuming you've got one) :D .

Solutions are kind of dependent upon your housing conditions. Are you renting the house/apartment? Is your landlord open to you building / hanging / mucking about?

You might use several storage techniques, a couple floor racks from Lowes, maybe some hooks in the ceiling, stands on the wall.
