I think they're trying to educate. It's annoying but, hey, it's a professional cycling race in America in February on prime time "national" television. Hard to get too pissy about that.

dropping that hammer is always a bad thing.

As zimbo said, any cycling coverage is a good thing. I was about to go nuts if I saw the saab comercial during the tour one more time but beggars cant be choosers when it comes to daily coverage.
