Check out this video where they take a Bugatti Veyron, world's fastest production car, to its top speed of 253 mph.

Amazing car, but I'd still take an Ultima GTR 720, similar power for far less :)
I'm waiting for the video of the next version of the Veyron....see if they can break 270.

Wow, cool video.
When doing those speeds, I think I'd want more than a conventional lap and shoulder belt holding me in. But then again, would it really matter?

At those speeds, probably should just dispense alotgether with "safety" devices.
That movie is amazing, it should be on a big screen..it was exciting, funny, neat, pretty much everything cool.

That's a clip from Top Gear, it's one of my favorite TV shows ever. Extremely well written and produced.

I'm pretty sure those cars have mounts inside for a 5-point harness.
And it's not like these cars will self destruct after having the stupid happen to them, this is a good example of how tough these things can be: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLCRW-ARL6w
Don't take that video as the standard though....but it goes to show these cars are not tin cans either.
