Road Cycling - Okay, since everyone else is posting pix of their ride ...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hey, bac, this pic is taken with digital camera, isn't it?
If so, what resolution does the camera have?

Yup - it's my new Cannon Powershot S400. It is 4.1 Magapixels with a 3X optical zoom. It's very compact, so it's easy to carry on the bike.

FYI, I had to decrease the size and resolution of these pix to comply with the max 100k file size of uploads to this site. The original pictures have an amazing resolution!

Sorry, I should have put the bike in @ least one of my photos! Anywho, since you asked, I'll attach a pic of the bike, and my new saddle. Unfortunately, these pix are not ride pix.

I dig the old fashioned motor-less lawn mower next to the bike!!

The bike's not bad, either!:D

Can I interest you in one of these! Actually, I ordered my directly from Italy, as I couldn't find a vendor who carried these Extralight saddles. Here is where I started the quest:

Click Me!!! (http://www.extralite.com/Products/compo_thesaddle_anglo.htm)

I ended up faxing my order, and got the saddle about 2 weeks later.

It was worth the hastle! :D

I do too since I also have one. The only problem is that it doesn't handle certain types of weeds very well or tall grass that you've neglected for weeks because you've been too busy out on rides. :D

Same opinion here... those retro Trek graphics are nice.

Wow, that is really cool. I'm not going to order one yet as I should probably see how the (ugly) saddle that my bike comes with feels, but those look really nice. Is it comfortable? Is it really just $49 like the webpage says?

Yup, it ended up being $79 + shipping.

As for the all important comfort factor, all our behinds are shaped a bit differently, so my opinion may not be the same as yours. Okay, disclaimer over! :) I only have about 150-175 miles on the saddle thus far, and this saddle, while certainly not plush, works well and seems to get a bit better with every mile. I, however, am going to withhold judgement until I get a few more miles on it.

Talk to me again in June! :D

So, BAC, what part of Pa you in?
I'm in central PA - about 30 miles north of Harrisburg.
