Just curious. Lately I've been feeling.. blech. Feels like I'm in a constant state of fever and I can't sleep. So I'm just really grouchy. What about you guys?

Being in a bad mood makes me grouchy. Is that specific enough?

I still don't get my mood swings. I suspect there's some kind of cycle, but I haven't identified it yet.

dealing with problems at work in the first hour or two make me extremely grouchy. i like a smooth ship until my first break, no jerky bull****.

i also get really irritated when i'm trying to fix a part on a car or bike, fix a computer problem, or assemble furniture.

in any of these situations, people are advised not to talk to me.

Lack of food, when I'm tired, those are a few things I can think of off the top of my head :)

Actually you all think I'm this really sweet girl, which most of the time I am, but I have my days!! :)

At work I can't deal with what I call "stupid people" I have to work on that everyday. There are plenty of things that make me grouchy but I have learned over time not to sweat the small stuff.

someone trying to talk to me before I have coffee.
Someone not talking to me after I had coffee.

Someone answering "hum" instead of yes.
Someone who ask for more informations after I answered "hum" which clearly indicated that I didnt want to say anything more.

Yes! Coffee is key. I only want someone to talk to me before I've had my coffee if they're saying "I'm buying" :D

Whassa DNR?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm grouchy in the morning if I have no coffee.

I get grouchy if the load doesn't come in.

I get grouchy if my OCD kicks in and it starts to bother me.

I get grouchy if my perfectly detailed plans don't pan out.

edit: Oh! And don't touch my bikes or my cars. Literally. Don't handle them unless you are a mechanic.

Luckily my best friend knows how to handle it because I usually take it out on him. (Poor guy - he loves me :o )

When things don't work the way i want them to. When i have to keep passing people up because they decide to go under the speed limit. Also when my parents tell me to do something, but do not explain what is wrong with what i have now, so they end up yelling and so do i.

An inch or more of rain during daylight hours (today, probably tomorrow), strong wind (today, probably tomorrow), disappointing coffee and beer (I'm good at making both, so it doesn't happen often), and being cold in my own house (October-April, happens a lot).

Whassa DNR?

Department of Natural Resources, I'm guessing. I might try to get a job with my state's DNR this summer!

I'm not a grouchy person. Seriously. I might feel sad, or frustrated, etc, but it never makes me grouchy. I'm the most cheerful person I know! :)

Something that might make me grouchy though...trying to make plans, for a weekend or something like that, and then having something come up that ruins the plans.

It takes a lot to get me grouchy; I'm annoyingly cheerful most of the time!

HOWEVER, I was getting pretty grouchy last night at the bar. we went to see this lame azz band play and it was overcrowded, the audience was getting really pushy when we were standing up front, the beer was crappy, the band sucked.....had to get out of there before I started hurting people! grrr!

1 - people who ask the same question a second time, and especially a 3rd time.
2 - people who make changes to setups because it is a good thing for me, when in fact its more convenient for them.
3 - Printers...I really hate printers

This week lots of things make me grumpy. I am on my 12th straight day, 120hours of work week and its finally my friday.

I absolutely hate it when I'm walking down the street and some dude is just standing there handing out $100.00 bills and those bills are NOT CRISP!!! I mean really, how much effort would it have taken to get CRISP bills. Some people are just plain inconsiderate. Makes me crazy!

Monday mornings when all the slackers are BSing around my office.

People at work who could very well do their jobs without a keyboard yet the sound of typing drones incessantly from their cubicle, which means they're talking to their friends over IM, email, or messing around on MySpace. Then I hear the *****ing and moaning about an approaching deadline. That and dealing with my commute home, makes me grouchy.

Being an electrical engineer in the defense industry and designing very capable weapons systems it annoys me when our systems are used to blow up bridges, roads, and buildings and then those pesky civil engineers go ahead and design new, bridges, roads, and buildings.

Come on guys, we spent a lot of effort blowing this stuff up, just leave blowed up.

DM4
02-25-07, 02:30 PM
yeah but that gives you more stuff you blow up, it keeps the cycle going

Yeah :)

We blowed that bridge up real good and we're gonna get to blow it up real good again.
