38 3/4 wife is 33 1/2.

When I was 19 I was dating a 34 yo for a while

I started dating my wife when I was 17 and she was almost 21. Happily together now for 10 years (married for 5). 4 years seemed like a long ways apart back then, but now, not so much. I did go from class nerd to class pimp in one weekend though. That was kind of cool, I suppose.

Im 39. The youngest girl I would date (If I was single) would be about 25. The oldest would be 40... (as long as she's an active 40, because 40 is OLD!)

Dare I say? Okay, sure, whatever... if I could magically choose the age for whomever I'm with, she would be between one year older than me and five years younger than me. This range is valid at this time (current age 27) and subject to revision.

i'm five years older. no preferences as it would depend on my age ... in my twenties i dated women who were a few years older than i ... they were a lot more put together than the punk that i was.

True story...

My parents never really encouraged me to date. Until one day, near the beginning of my junior year in college, my mom called me. Our conversation went something like this:

"You're in your third year of college now, right?"
"Yes."
"So there's lots of freshman girls around about two years younger, right?"
"Umm... yeah..."
"Maybe you can find yourself a good girl."

And later that year, when I got my first non-research job (a job I still hold today), when my parents found out, they asked me if I needed more money and offered to simply give me the money if that was the reason I had the job. When I made it clear that that wasn't the reason, my mom had another talk with me, going something like this:

"How much do you make per hour?"
"$10"
"So you can take a different freshman girl out each night, right?"
"On $5?"
"Okay, every other night then." :eek:

I was very confused. Thought I liked older men. Then I figured out cradle robbing is good fun. If this one doesn't work out I might go younger, who knows ;).

I'll have to try it sometime. I've never dated someone more than 1.5 years younger, though nowadays, I find myself interested in a few girls about 3-4 years younger.
