It's 10:30am and I'm due to do a radio shift from Midday to 4:00pm. That means I'm about to hop on my bike and head to the radio station to prepare for my shift.
The forecast is saying wet and windy with winds becoming gale force later today. Mmmm.
Oh well - I'd better go and get soggy.

I know how you feel ... believe me ...

The difference is that you should be heading out of winter - we're just heading toward it. Enjoy the sunshine when it arrives.
Sorry to hear that ... if it'll make you feel better, we seem to be having a late summer, and just came out of a long winter.

That's OK. I was enjoying perfect weather for months while you would have been stuck indoors.:D

Actually, we still went and rode ... it was just a little messier. :p

Oh no, I'm only banned from gloating about the lack of flats. I know our weather won't suck this winter (we've had enough rain to eliminate the possibility of bushfires and dust storms for a while, although I would like some more). I can still gloat all I like about weather, scenery, the South Pacific, etc etc. :D

I intend riding all winter. I have to - I have to train for the big ride in September.
By the way - I made it to the radio station and I'm now on-air. I'm a bit wet - but I'm here.

An hour and a half into a 4 hour shift and I'm gazing out the window as the sky gets darker and darker.
The ride home is going to be wild.
Friend say to me the other day. You know come mid june thesun starts setting earlier everyday. Really a downer if you think that way. :D

After all the concern it was quite OK on the way home. It's now 10:00pm and the wind is howling with rain bucketing down.
Hopefully it'll blow itself out overnight so I can ride tomorrow.

We're having the same conversations in different parts of the world.
Fortunately, it's good weather tomorrow after crap weather this week!
Yay!

... And in reverse order. It's crap weather today (i.e. the sun's out) after good weather (i.e. rain) the last two days. Bring the rain back!

Extreme winds again today - much worse in fact.
I rode against gale force winds to get here. I'm on air at the radio station (http://www.sonshinefm.ws) again today, so tune in over the next couple of hours if you like.
I'm hoping those winds will blow me home later today.:D
