Hi Guys, Ladies,

I am new to the Road cycling forum although I have been present on MTB forums. I am just shifting some of my time and interest to road bikes. I have something on mind CAAD5 with some nice stuff put on it.

My question might have been already several times asked but I hope I can rely on your experience to get the right frame size.

the size is 58 cm and my dimensions are: 183 cm (around 6 feet)
and my leg length (from "upper ceiling" to the floor) is 87-88cm is 34.8-35.2 inches. Do you think that the frame should fit me? If it is 1cm too big I can live with it - it has great stuff on it + is in good price.

From the fit size equation on "wrench science" web site - the result was 57-58cm frame size for me.

What would you recommend?
Many thanks in advance.

I just notices similar post "help with frame size". very similar question, even the same frame (CAAD5) - do you think that 58cm will fit given my dimensions

I would go to a Cannondale dealer and try one out. For aroun 6', most people I would think would get like a 59 cm or 60 cm, but its really how it feels. And making sure the bike fits is the most important part

I'm 6 foot and just did mine last night and came away with a size of 57 unless its a lemond, then its a 58 because he uses a measurement of cc instead of ct.
