It was cold here for quite sometime. I couldn't wait for the weather to break so I could get out on the mountain bike soon. I was planning on a ton of roadtrips! Even bought tons of extra parts so I could have some fresh stuff by the time spring rolled around. BUT now that spring has arrived and it's been ubelievably nice out we get a huge rollout of stuff at work, and I've been working 12-14 hour days, plus Saturday and even Sundays sometime. So I've been puting in 70-80 hour weeks for about the past 2 months now, maybe more, and there's many more monts to come still.

UGGG So now I have no time to ride my bike (or even my dirtbike I bought). Got the all mountain bike sitting along side my DH bike, and neither have moved in a long time! Hell I think I rode my bikes more during the winter!! I'm goin nuts, I want to get out on any of them, that would make me very happy. But it doesn't look like that's going to happen, cause there is more work on the way. And it's not like I can just head out my back door and ride, in order to get to any, just ok trails it's about a 1.5 hour drive since most in my area are getting closed down!!

Why couldn't this have happend in the winter when I wouldn't mind working all the time? The killer is that even if I did take a day off, the work will pile up and it'll be even more work when I get back. So anyways, just needed to vent a little. Thanks guys. I also wanted to see how many others of you this happens to.

You all better post tons of riding pics so at least I can prettend that I'm riding here at work...hahaha

Slcpunk,

I feel for ya. But no I haven;t had that problem. Our spring started very early and we were slammed in the Winter only and have been very slow ever since and probably all summer and fall.

I really do need to get you some pics. I am going riding today I will see if my partner will bring his camera :)

Slcpunk-try working those hours in a shop when you're surrounded by cool bikes and people with all their stories of the rides they've been going on. Not fun...I feel your pain.

Actually, I have worked in shops for about 7 years, just this last few years is the first time I haven't been working in a shop fulltime, I do some work on the side for the shops when they are short or can't figure out how to fix something. So trust me Waldo I know where you're coming from! I assume you work at a shop? Maybe if I get some free time I'll swing by. You aren't to far away.

And Maelstrom...I'm waiting on those pics! hahaha
