Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm fairly new to the cycling scene and was wondering how come this site has no "How To" section? I think a site such as this could benefit from one. I have a lot of questions that I'm tired of searching for but don't want to post.

Hey, you already have. :)
We have a comprehensive How To section.... It's called "Bicycle Mechanics". "Classic & Vintage" might be a good place to look if you have an older bike. Don't be afraid to post there, the fangs you see are nothing but stage props. ;)
If you really must just read & not ask, try the Park Tools site at www.parktool.com or Sheldon Brown's site, both are a fountian of information each with its own flavor.

We really aren't that bad! Read first, but if you still can't find an answer, ask away. General Cycling is good for questions of that nature, and the Classic and Vintage folks almost never give anyone a hard time (as long as you bring pictures :D ).
