Thinking about picking one of these up. Will definitely test ride and see if it is for me but I wanted to hear some comments from those with more singlespeed knowledge. It will be my first ss. I was thinking about building one up but can't come close to the retail price (~$800). Any thoughts on the SISS or other singlespeeds in this price range- $500-$800? What does the SISS weigh? Finally, am I nuts thinking to put a suspension fork on this puppy? thanks

I work at a Bianchi dealer and I looked at the Siss at the interbike show this year and was very impressed. It is about time that Bianchi made a STEEL singlespeed rather than their Easton Aluminum ones. The parts spec is well thought out and it is a cool looking ride altogether with the discs and all. I would recommend it. As far as the fork goes, I go from rigid to suspension forks on my Surly SS depending on the race/riding that I am doing. I really enjoy riding the rigid fork though, it is really not that bad.
