Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. A peaceful and orderly life. No surprise bills. No disruptions to plans. No months on end of crappy weather.

I feel like Hobbes in Calvin in Hobbes. Hobbes says he only wanted a tuna fish sandwich and Calvin can't believe he asked for only that.
But Hobbes got what he wanted. :D Oh, and my wife has chocolate chips stashed in the freezer when the yearning starts to get out of control...
OMG Portis!!! You avatar is the BEST!!
2 Grand. Not that I'm "yearning" for it. But it would sure make things nice around here. <shrug>

yearn (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/yearn): "to long persistently, wistfully, or sadly"
Some of you Fooers are apparently pretty easy to please. Food items?

Well I love food so for me that is pretty easy, but in all seriousness I do long for a new job, one I enjoy, want to go to everyday etc. :)
What about you Velo??

I yearn for a challenging job, which I do well, and which does not bore me.
I yearn for fast-paced bike rides on long summer evenings. I yearn to ride amid North America's great mountain ranges.
I yearn to understand how my mind works.
I yearn for a good date.

Just 'cause it's ugly don't mean it's slow. Of course, there is a certain element of operator input related to speed. :p
