I have a friend that has a real narrow foot and heel. He wants to get a pair of road shoes but can't seem to find a pair that fits. He has tried Shimano and Carnac but none fit. We live in an area where bike apparel is very limited and he is about ready to give up on his search. Does anybody have a brand suggestion??? He wears a size 11 1/2 and is willing to spend up to $175.00. The bike he purchased has Shimano SPD-M545 pedals but he can change them out if necessary to get a shoe that fits. Any help would be appreciated.

Check out Sidi shoes they are fairly narrow shoes. Almost everyone that has them loves them.

I have a narrow foot also, and I have the Sidi Rampa (about $120 USD retail). I love these shoes. I have tried on some of the upper-end Sidi shoes and they feel great, but I've never ridden with them.
